Born in Austin raised in Manor, with deep roots in the community since graduating from Manor ISD in 2014, my upbringing was filled with hands-on experiences that shaped who I am today. Growing up, I learned the value of hard work and determination through ranching alongside my brothers and grandfather. My time managing backstage operations for the Manor High School Theater Department further developed my skills in coordination and problem-solving. These early experiences paved the way for me to connect with the community in various roles, including as an after-school counselor at the YMCA and as “Farmer Aaron” at Crowes Nest Farm.
Professionally, I built a solid foundation at Applied Materials, where I spent four years gaining industry knowledge. I then transitioned to the Austin Transportation Department, allowing me to contribute to the city’s infrastructure and growth.
At 24, I began my formal journey into local governance as a member of the City’s Board of Adjustments. In 2021, I was elected to Place 5 on the City Council, becoming one of the youngest individuals in our city’s history to serve in this capacity. My dedication to public service is evident through my active participation in several key committees, including Parks and Trees, Health, Budget, and Emergency Management. Over the past three years, I have been committed to understanding the needs of my constituents and advocating for their interests.
Outside of work and public service, I find joy in life’s simple pleasures. Whether spending time with family and friends, hiking scenic trails, riding my Harley Davidson, or fishing, I relish every moment. My passion for film, music, and the arts fuels my creativity and inspires my pursuits. By balancing my love for adventure with an appreciation for the arts, I aim to embrace life fully and make the most of every experience.
